American Red Cross Expert to present at Virtual Meeting on December 2nd
Gordon Gillis, assisted by Jenny Worth will be representing the American Red Cross and will make a presentation to the Zoom meeting of the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 1st.  Their presentation will feature information about the American Red Cross Ready Rating program.
 
Gordon M. Gillis is a recognized leader in the safety industry for over 25 years.  As the owner/CEO of Safety Services Hawaii, he is a certified trainer for OSHA and the American Red Cross, with direct experience in monitoring, enforcing and correcting safety issues, regulations and procedures. He is currently volunteering as the government relations officer with the American Red Cross for Maui County and is active in emergency response and preparedness for the county and the state.  
 
Mr. Gillis has a recognized knowledge base of occupational health and safety sciences and the ability to analyze and communicate data and develop safety and health strategy.  He is an effective communicator and has appeared in news briefings, most recently with the Mayor of Maui, Michael Victorino, when cyclone Douglas was bearing down on Hawaii.
