Manager for Maui Convention and Visitors Bureau to speak
Megan DeGaia will be the guest speaker at the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset ‘s meeting at 5:30 pm on Tuesday July 19. The meeting will be held at the Royal Ocean Terrace Restaurant at the Royal Lahaina Resort.
Meagan DeGaia serves as the destination manager for the Maui Visitors & Convention Bureau. In this role she is working with the local community and across sectors to implement the Destination Management Action Plan for Maui Nui. Her background is in environmental conservation, nonprofits, and sales during the time that she published two private magazines, Neighbors of Wailea & Mākena and Neighbors of West Maui. Meagan will be speaking about the actions of the Destination Management Action Plan and how this work resets, rebuilds and redefines the direction of tourism.
