Clinical Director for Maui Youth and Family Services to be Virtual Speaker
Susan Pirsch is the Clinical Director for Maui Youth and Family Services, was the school counselor at Seabury Hall for 17 years, ran many of Maui's Youth Centers and has worked in social services for more than 25 years. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. Maui Youth & Family Services is seeking foster homes for youth ages 10 and up. The organization licenses homes for two youth for short term and sometimes, for longer term placement. Families who open their homes for MYFS youth are supported by a team of workers including a foster therapist and are paid for each night a youth is in care. Pirsch will share the details of the rewards of foster homes placements.
