Jorge Cabradilla inducted at End Polio Now event!
NINE ROTARY CLUBS ON MAUI HOSTED END POLIO NOW EVENT AND INDUCTED THREE NEW MEMBERS
 
On a recent Monday over 70 members and guests from the nine Rotary Clubs on Maui gathered at Seascape Restaurant to participate in a fundraiser for the Rotary initiative End Polio Now and to induct new members into three clubs.  Keynote speakers were Randy Hart, Governor of Rotary District 5000 and Roz Cooper, D5000 End Polio Now Chair. Participants also heard from polio survivors who are Rotary members, Charlotte Smith and Richard Jarman.  Over $2000 was collected from 13 live auction items and donations. The collected funds will be sent to the Rotary initiative, End Polio Now.  The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation will match all contributions 2-to-1.
 
Three new members were inducted into three Rotary clubs by District Governor Randy Hart.
