Tour de Trash

Ever wonder what happens to all the recycling that we collect at our monthly Go Green Third Saturday Recycling events? This is your chance to find out! Join us on Wednesday, April 12 for a private, behind the scenes tour of trash and recycling in Maui County led by Stacia Ash. 

This is a unique opportunity for club members to visit local businesses involved in recycling and disposal and to learn more about what happens beyond the recycling bin. 

Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset members will have the first opportunity to RSVP this week. Seating is limited, so please RSVP.  

We will meet in the Target Parking lot at 8:15AM, and board a bus to tour various sites including:

• Central Maui Landfill
• EKO Compost
• Hammerhead Metals
• Maui Disposal
• Ecycling
• Pacific Biodiesel

Lunch will be at at Queen Kaahumanu Mall.
