Annual Service Projects
RESCUE TUBES FOR WEST MAUI BEACHES:
In the summer of 2019 our club joined forces with the 3 other Maui Coastal Rotary Clubs to provide information and awareness about our combined efforts to maintain and educate the public about the 100+ Rescue Tubes on West and South Maui Beach Parks.  The three Lahaina Clubs maintain over 75 Rescue Tubes.  Rescue Tube awareness efforts were conducted with the support of former Maui mayor Charmaine Tavares, the Maui Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Mayor’s Office on Travel & Tourism, and Maui Hotel & Lodging Associations.  These efforts included:  1) a 2:35 video and 32 second PSA which is now broadcast on all Maui-related Social media platforms; 2) the committee designed and funded 2500 Rescue Tubes Saves Livesbrochures which have been provided by the above agencies to most Maui visitor properties; 3) a 1/3 page display ad in the 2021 edition of The Best of Maui book that is in every hotel and condo room across the island.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES DRIVE FOR PRINCESS NAHIENAENA AND HANA SCHOOLS:
