Member of Mayor's Lahaina Fires Advisory Team to Speak
On Tuesday, February 20, 2024, Kim Ball will be the speaker at the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset meeting. Ball was selected to be a member Mayor Richard Bissen’s Lahaina Advisory Team in response to the Lahaina Wildfires. Ball is the founder and president of Hi-Tech Maui, Inc. and has served as the Wrestling Coach at Lahainaluna High School since 1980.
The Lahaina Advisory Team serves as a critical resource and has met weekly with Mayor Bissen to ensure the needs and desires of the community are part of discussions and decisions the County is involved in. Ball will share and update on this committee’s mission and duties.
The meeting will be held at the Aston Paki Maui Resort Ali`i meeting room. Social is 5:00 pm and the meeting begins at 5:30 pm. A light dinner will be served. To make reservations to attend the meeting please email Joanne Laird at: mamalrd01@gmail.com.
